Prayer Please!

Helllooooo!

Well, these past few months (years really), have been a HUGE teaching experience for our family in the area of trust and patience.  They were not easy things to learn, and we're still learning, but boy, I am eternally grateful for the things that He has shown us.  I'll try and expand on that later.

Part of that learning process was when Abba asked us to move.  Not just any move, but He wants us to move to a farm, build our own houses, and be self sustainable.  Crazy, right?  But INCREDIBLE!

In so many ways this was an impossible situation.  Questions like, "How are we going to sell our house?" or "Where are we going to live?" and "What on earth is life going to look like?", and "Will we be able to meet all the demands?", were constantly going through our mind, along with many other questions.  This had been our family's dream ever since I can remember, and honestly, I thought it waaay too far out of reach.

Well, long story short Abba proved Himself faithful once again as He overcame all of our 'obstacles,' and yes, we are now officially moving and are excited about the adventure that lies ahead of us!

We know its not going to be easy.... It's going to be very hard.  But if obedience were always easy, how could we truly express our love for the Father?

Please, please, please continue to pray as we embark on this journey.  We will need the back up support.  There are still many more miracles waiting to take place, and many more obstacles to overcome. Thank you!

Blessings,
Sophie

  1. Having just traversed the difficult road you are now treading, I can totally understand what you all are going through. I had an overwhelming mixture of feelings of excitement, panic, not knowing what the future may hold, sadness for everybody and everything we were leaving behind, and being totally overcome by all that had to be done to prepare for such a life changing move. It was a very difficult season, but the Father worked mightily in our lives during that time. He will work mightily in your lives as well. He is faithful!

We look forward to seeing you in a few weeks! :)
