- She makes the best food ever. One of our favorite things is to cook together. Clean up is a different story... :)
- She is very creative. When we do school, she is always thinking of funny songs, poems, and crafts to help us remember.
- She is strong. Even during our hardest times, Mom always stays strong.
- She makes us laugh... really hard. :)
She is very talented. She is a pianist, and an incredible writer. Some of our favorite stories are the ones that came from our mom.
- She is a teacher. She works so hard to make learning fun. She comes up with the funniest things!
- She is hospitable. She is always doing something for someone. And, she always keeps a pitcher of ice tea in the refrigerator. :)
- She is a wonderful gardener. Our garden stays well cared for under her touch and Gods mercy!
- She keeps us safe. From the world and from ourselves. God gave her a gift for wisdom.
- Last but not least, she loves us with all her heart. And we love you Mom, forever and always!
On Mothers Day, we went to go visit our Grandma. The first thing we did that day was go to my grandma's church to listen to a children's choir. The next thing we did was go to 'The Country Bounty Resteraunt' for lunch. We had been saving up so we could treat everyone with lunch. Grandma and Mom both split a steak, potato and salad. We split chicken fried steak, french fries (who can resist them?), and a salad. All together lunch was actually pretty well priced... since we all split, of course. :) Sophia gave her gift to grandma, and Moms card. Our mom accidentally left her Mothers Day card in menu before she opened it... but thankfully we were able to recover it. :) We apologize for not having pictures of grandma's gift, but we can tell you that it was a summer scarf. :) Sophia's present for Mom wasn't finished yet... so she promised to give it to her as soon as it was finished. Hannah had plans for her gift later. ;)
This is Grandma and us at the restaurant. Mom was taking the picture so she couldn't be in it. Sophia couldn't seem to pose that day... She was also trying to lean in... It didn't work out to well. :)
Sorry about the lighting. Unfortunatly its the only picture we have!

So, sadly, we forgot to take pictures of our mom that day, so we looked through my moms photos, and found this one. It is one of our favorites. We figured, since it was mothers day, she would get to pick out the picture. Our mom is in the middle.
natural goat milk soap. It feels so good on your skin! And it's also really good for you. Believe it or not, until that day my grandma had NEVER had a foot massage before! She told us that it was because her feet are to ticklish. Around 4:30 pm we started the four hour drive home, and arrived home at about 7 or 8:00pm
To end our post, we want to say thank you to all moms, for your tolerance,
support, and tender loving care. :-D
Special thanks to, - Our sweet older sister Brittney, who is the mother of our two wonderful nephews. (You can read about her here. She posted the second one)
- Mrs. Frei, for being a wonderful friend
- Our cousin Connee, who gives us great company any time we need it
- Our incredible, talented, and loving mother
- All other moms. Blessings to them all!
Hannah & Sophia
What did you do for mothers day?
Please comment!
Loved the post today, guys! For mother's day we slept for half the day, had left over Morgan harvest sandwich's for lunch and then went to look for our puppies who had decided to visit the neighbor's and then went to dinner at a resturaunt. I guess it was an okay mother's day... Glad you guys had fun with your Mom and Grandma!
