ReplyDeleteIt is such a joy to see young ladies who want to be dressed modestly. Our Amazing Loving Heavenly Father was to see us protected and cherished. To be modestly dressed is a way to cooperate with His plan to keep us protected and cherished. Your bodies are to be kept pure for that one man that He has ordained for you. And also, your modest dress helps other men stay pure for their brides. We don't want to cause a man to "stumble" by being immodest.
I also want to mention that Bill Gothard, in his Institute in Basic Life Principles seminars, always mentions that a lady's face, shining with the light and joy and love of Yeshua, is what Yeshua wants people to notice....and if a lady is "half dressed", mens' eyes will be distracted from the face. And when eyes are distracted, thoughts can also be distracted and drawn away from where they belong. You are all to be commended for choosing the Godly path. :)
