Happy 4th of July! Just a little late...

 Hello Everyone!

 

Sorry our post came so late.  So busy after independence day!  How was your July 4th?  Good we hope!  We had a few friends over to our house.  At one point, all of the older children had a water fight.  That resulted in mud next to our tether ball pole, which resulted in this...

Later on, after everyone was dry, we made desert!  Homemade ice cream...  With no ice cream maker!  Mmm! All we did was put our cream, sugar and milk mixture in a sandwich baggie.  We put that baggie into a gallon bag, which had ice and salt in it.  Then we kneaded it until some clumps formed.  It wasn't as frozen or "together" as store bought ice cream is, but it was still delicious!  
Sophia's took the longest.  She's a slow kneader :P 

After desert we pulled out the glow sticks, and watched the fireworks!

 

 

Had a blast with our Grandma!

Well, that was our fourth of July (give or take a few details) :P
