First, we had to prepare for my sister, brother-in-law, and two nephews to move in with us for a while, and get ready for Sukkot. They arrived the day before we left for Sukkot. Then, we camped for ten days. After that was Hannah's birthday, which we will tell you all about next post... Not to mention that Sophia is going to get her first piano student in just a few days. So there's our excuse. Now, we've finally caught a breath to post.
Today, we're memorizing the first four (half) verses of Psalm 3. This Psalm is truly amazing. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
1O, how my adversaries have increased! Many rising up against me. 2Many are saying of me, "There is no deliverance for him in Elohim." Selah. 3But You, O YAHWEH are a shield for me, My esteem, and the One lifting up my head. 4I cried to YAHWEH with my voice, And HE heard me from His set-apart mountain. Selah.
Well, it's now time to join our 'choir' (5 of our friends and our family) for voice lessons from our mom. Think on these verses.
Shalom!
Hannah and Sophia
So that's what you were doing when I got to your house after violin lessons! :) This Psalm was one of my favorites to memorize when I did it on my blog.
